The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Juanitos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UD Tejar:s goal. Santos Lizanein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xalvador Carasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Bustamante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Minda Vuelva in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Santos Lizanein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juanitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Lizanein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santos Lizanein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nicolas Bustamante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Lezarazo in the 26th minute of play forced Juanitos FC's goalkeeper Pepito Madaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, UD Tejar's goalkeeper Nicolas Bustamante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Lizanein. After a rather tough play, UD Tejar's Venerando Osa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Santos Lizanein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juanitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Lizanein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Tejar's goalkeeper Nicolas Bustamante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos Lizanein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nicolas Bustamante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minda Vuelva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Bustamante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Juanitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minda Vuelva to maneuver through the defense. After the first half UD Tejar were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Santos Lizanein might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Bustamante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Lizanein ran back to his position shaking his head. Juanitos FC's Santos Lizanein got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Xalvador Carasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Bustamante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Lizanein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ataulfo Volante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepito Madaria having to interfere. Trivniño Munozcano kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ataulfo Volante managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Tejar's supporters rose to their feet, but Ataulfo Volante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepito Madaria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Santos Lizanein made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Bustamante. UD Tejar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Nicolas Bustamante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Minda Vuelva, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to Juanitos FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Minda Vuelva hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Santos Lizanein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Bustamante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
