Silvio Cagide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Valero, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Mateus Oreamuno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Paredones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lio Messi F.C the free kick. Mateus Oreamuno hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Lio Messi F.C's Michael Cayado tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mateus Oreamuno got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to UD Paredones getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mateus Oreamuno hit a great ball. Alejandro Maximino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ramon Peredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venerando Artolozaga having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Maximino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venerando Artolozaga was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Diego Traslago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Cagide having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejandro Maximino was the one to do the kick off. Sandro Valero kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Diego Traslago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Cagide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th minute, De-la-Cruz Notes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Diego Traslago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Paredones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Traslago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Cayado kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lio Messi F.C's goalkeeper Silvio Cagide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hector-Luis Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venerando Artolozaga having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Lio Messi F.C's Augusto Sarria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venerando Artolozaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lio Messi F.C's zone, Diego Traslago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Cagide came out of the goal and Diego Traslago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Maximino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector-Luis Abascal during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UD Paredones booed when Lio Messi F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector-Luis Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lio Messi F.C's Silvio Cagide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Lio Messi F.C from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Traslago got free with Silvio Cagide in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The UD Paredones players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
