But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Aragon couldn't finish the play. When UD Nayumbimi's Teofilo Cabria in 17 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cesar Souto guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Roger Beteta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chatruc Celama went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Chatruc Celama recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Augusto Aragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, CD Cornejo's Chatruc Celama sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Beteta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chatruc Celama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Roger Beteta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Aragon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78thth minute of the game Chatruc Celama who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Nayumbimi's Roger Beteta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Aragon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD Cornejo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
