With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Mendaña in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Díaz Moya saved UD Procel from getting behind. Raul Polledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Díaz Moya having to interfere. In the 13th minute Gallinazo were awarded a corner. Vito Pangusion went to the cornerflag to take it. Minda Enterria charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Minda Enterria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gallinazo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Minda Enterria hit a great ball. In the 17th play minute Fabio Xavier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Klimowitz Vellon. 1-0. Blanco Loranza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Klimowitz Vellon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Xavier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Klimowitz Vellon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Fabio Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Procel's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klimowitz Vellon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Celso Mendaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Jacobo Lando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gallinazo and the UD Procel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gallinazo's Jacobo Lando got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Hernando Siruendo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Klimowitz Vellon. Gallinazo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Díaz Moya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Polledo in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Jacobo Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klimowitz Vellon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blanco Loranza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Perez Casadevante fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Procel's protests and gave Perez Casadevante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, UD Procel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perez Casadevante to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Criban Llamazares charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Criban Llamazares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UD Procel getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Criban Llamazares hit a great ball. Fabio Xavier struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Klimowitz Vellon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Procel. 83 minutes into the match, Blanco Loranza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klimowitz Vellon. Gallinazo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blanco Loranza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. UD Procel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
