Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute of the match Marco Arismendi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zenon Ampuero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CD Chasqui's zone, Alejandro Faso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urtsin Caceo came out of the goal and Alejandro Faso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Fernández Pertierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Ampuero came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Chasqui's Garcia Casielles. But to his dismay, Garcia Casielles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Luis Bedoya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Chasqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN MARCO the free kick. After a rather tough play, CD Chasqui's Luis Bedoya got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, CD Chasqui's goalkeeper Urtsin Caceo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Faso. When %teams%'s Perez Pazo was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 23 minutes into the game. Urtsin Caceo was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Leo Quijano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Ampuero having to interfere. Zenon Ampuero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garcia Casielles in the 36th minute of the match. Garcia Casielles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Zenon Ampuero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, CD Chasqui's Garcia Casielles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zenon Ampuero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Quijano was the one to do the kick off. If Garcia Casielles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leo Quijano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Leo Quijano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SAN MARCO's Caicedo Bajuelo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Garcia Casielles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zenon Ampuero having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Quijano in the 73rd minute of play forced SAN MARCO's goalkeeper Zenon Ampuero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes in the game, Leo Quijano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zenon Ampuero having to interfere. Zenon Ampuero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garcia Casielles in the 98th minute.
