After a rather tough play, Morrillo SC's Víctor Borrero got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palacios Sorribo in the 12th minute of play forced Zhiquir's goalkeeper Nixon Perdomo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Espineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a left leg Lucas Reve saved Morrillo SC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Camilo Gacel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morrillo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Gacel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nixon Perdomo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Morrillo SC. José-Manuel Tarapiella stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nixon Perdomo. 0-1. When Palacios Sorribo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Morrillo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Palacios Sorribo couldn't finish the play. Joel Labarra kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ovidio Vilaprenyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Vilaprenyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lucas Reve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard and well directed shot from José-Manuel Tarapiella led 46 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Zhiquir's Nixon Perdomo became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ximenez Saucedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Palacios Sorribo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Camilo Gacel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Vilaprenyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Reve having to interfere. A hard shot 67 in the game by Camilo Gacel from a close distance when the talented Nixon Perdomo managed to make a qualified save. Zhiquir's players were relieved. In the 67th match minute, Zhiquir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Labarra to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Gacel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nixon Perdomo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Gacel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Nixon Perdomo made a huge save. After 81 minutes of play, Zhiquir's Ovidio Vilaprenyo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Reve was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute Ovidio Vilaprenyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Reve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Morrillo SC booed when Zhiquir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Enao didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Palacios Sorribo got free with Nixon Perdomo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zhiquir's Nixon Perdomo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palacios Sorribo in the 92nd minute of play. When Joel Labarra fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zhiquir's protests and gave Joel Labarra a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Labarra kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. From a short distance, Morrillo SC's Palacios Sorribo, in the 94th minute, tried to place the ball behind Nixon Perdomo, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out.
