Weterio Betancur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Baldeón Cubo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Minda Rosinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Patamarca's Leo Encina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocio Periceira in the 25th minute of play. Romo Lassa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Garrido Rufrancos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Encina having to interfere. Leo Encina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocio Periceira in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Xabel Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minda Rosinos in the 41st minute of play forced Cuchucun's goalkeeper Baldeón Cubo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Encina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garrido Rufrancos in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 51 minutes, Celso Cirion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Patamarca and the Cuchucun players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes CD Patamarca got a freekick which was hit by Celso Cirion. Garrido Rufrancos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Leo Encina made a huge save. In the 55thth minute of the game Rocio Periceira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Patamarca's Leo Encina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th match minute, CD Patamarca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Riofrio to maneuver through the defense. Minda Rosinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldeón Cubo having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, CD Patamarca's Minda Rosinos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldeón Cubo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Cuchucun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gutierrez Manzano to maneuver through the defense. Cuchucun's Garrido Rufrancos got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Cuchucun's Garrido Rufrancos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Encina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Cuchucun's Angel Labarrita got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Cuchucun's goal looked a bit too open when Weterio Betancur came free, but Baldeón Cubo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
