Baldeón Cubo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernández Dehesa in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Fernández Dehesa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blaus Bicampions's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernández Dehesa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldeón Cubo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The nice shot from Garrido Rufrancos in the 20thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Urritz Monagray had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Garrido Rufrancoss short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Urritz Monagray to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Blaus Bicampions's Urritz Monagray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Blaus Bicampions from getting a goal against them. When Garrido Rufrancos came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Cuchucun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garrido Rufrancos couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
A collision led to Cuchucun getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Xabel Sena hit a great ball. Blaus Bicampions's Fernández Dehesa got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Cuchucun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gutierrez Manzano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Garrido Rufrancos managed to get in a good position for a shot.
