Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armando Benitua took the kick off in the first half of the match. Armando Benitua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Suso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aragón Cantalapiedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Penablanca's zone, Christobal Rivadeneira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aragón Cantalapiedra came out of the goal and Christobal Rivadeneira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Benitua might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aragón Cantalapiedra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Benitua ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto Borica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aragón Cantalapiedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Egea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aragón Cantalapiedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Penablanca's Fernandez Arzube got a free kick in the 25th minute. Telmo Egea, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Christobal Rivadeneira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute George Forcadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Zarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Suso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aragón Cantalapiedra having to interfere. Pinllopata SC's Christobal Rivadeneira got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aragón Cantalapiedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Suso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Mediano made a kick off. Pinllopata SC's Christobal Rivadeneira got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Benitua struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Aragón Cantalapiedra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinllopata SC. Bottero Urruchi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Wilfredo Zarra was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fernandez Arzube. If Armando Benitua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Pinllopata SC's Christobal Rivadeneira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aragón Cantalapiedra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Ovies during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Penablanca getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lorenzo Ovies hit a great ball. Penablanca's Aragón Cantalapiedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christobal Rivadeneira in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Forcadas got free with Wilfredo Zarra in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aragón Cantalapiedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morales Suso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pinllopata SC had played much better football throughout.
