Anangonó Munarriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Agudo got free with Jeremias Cobides in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bottero Moñiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Toralino in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Sin Zapatos got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Losa. German Toralino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Sin Zapatos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cachiloma SC:s goal. Nicolas Losa charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Losa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Juan-Angel Maltrana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachiloma SC's Jeremias Cobides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan-Angel Maltrana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Cobides having to interfere. Mellington Gao charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mellington Gao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mellington Gao hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Sin Zapatos's Bottero Moñiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Toralino in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Felipe Agudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Cobides was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Cachiloma SC's Ubarna Ceberiche got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiloma SC's zone, Felipe Agudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Cobides came out of the goal and Felipe Agudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan-Angel Maltrana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anangonó Munarriz charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anangonó Munarriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cachiloma SC's Anangonó Munarriz got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Cachiloma SC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Batista Libran hit a great ball. Jeremias Cobides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Agudo in the 54th minute of play. Bottero Moñiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Cachiloma SC's Xalvador Bernal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xalvador Bernal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cachiloma SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xalvador Bernal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Sin Zapatos. Rubén Sagredo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeremias Cobides. 2-2. In the 70th minute, Juan-Angel Maltrana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Juan-Angel Maltrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Cobides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Losa in the 80th minute of play. Felipe Agudo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jeremias Cobides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sin Zapatos. Felipe Agudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
