Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Unai Moreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Bajito CD's goal looked a bit too open when Neicer Berrio came free, but Mane Velaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neicer Berrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mane Velaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neicer Berrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Ysmael Obies shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xarles Sotelo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bajito CD's Mane Velaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Artes in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Roberto Artes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Artes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mane Velaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xuban Rabelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xarles Sotelo was a little too slow when Unai Moreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Roberto Artes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mane Velaz having to interfere. Mane Velaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Artes in the 49th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neicer Berrio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neicer Berrio in the 53rd minute of play forced Bajito CD's goalkeeper Mane Velaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mane Velaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neicer Berrio in the 56th minute of play. CS Emelec's Neicer Berrio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mane Velaz made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Roberto Artes sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Landaburu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Bajito CD's Mane Velaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neicer Berrio in the 61st minute of play. Unai Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Xarles Sotelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Roberto Artes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS Emelec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Artes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mane Velaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neicer Berrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roberto Artes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unai Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xuban Rabelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carabalí Brañas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Xuban Rabelo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bajito CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuban Rabelo couldn't finish the play. CS Emelec's Xarles Sotelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Moreira in the 92nd minute of play. Bajito CD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
