Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victor Villaran got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azconzábal Remolino in the 5th minute of play forced QuitoFC's goalkeeper Chucho Platas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chucho Platas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azconzábal Remolino in the 14th minute of play. Jeremias Santurde hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Rolando Ziarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Estevez having to interfere. Victor Villaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, QuitoFC's Victor Villaran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Martin Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Villaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Martin Estevez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Villaran's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Chiguaza SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Herro to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Ziarza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Azconzábal Remolino to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Victor Villaran managed to get in a good position for a shot. QuitoFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Villaran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Estevez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Villaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Victor Villaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Villaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Martin Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Ziarza in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Chiguaza SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Bradi to maneuver through the defense. QuitoFC's Rolando Ziarza got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Villaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jeremias Santurde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ortiz Cieza kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Azconzábal Remolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiguaza SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azconzábal Remolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Villaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Chiguaza SC defense, Rolando Ziarza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Estevez. The Chiguaza SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Estevez should have stopped the shot.
