Ambrossi Cumbres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Leonel Salamanca managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Cuhimbe's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Salamanca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Vinyals breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrossi Cumbres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nacho Vinyals stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrossi Cumbres's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Pacheco got a freekick which was hit by Vincente Herriaga. After some careless play in the CD Cuhimbe defense, Quintana Muriel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of España Rois. The CD Cuhimbe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that España Rois should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Salamanca in the 37th minute of play forced Pacheco's goalkeeper Nacho Vinyals to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrossi Cumbres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nacho Vinyals tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Curiel was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Cagua Vielva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but España Rois showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pacheco's Nacho Vinyals proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Pacheco from getting a goal against them. Quintana Muriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrossi Cumbres's late challenge caught a Pacheco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrossi Cumbres helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Pacheco got a freekick which was hit by Cagua Vielva. Nacho Vinyals made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Salamanca in the 91st minute of play. Leonel Salamanca might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Vinyals. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Salamanca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th match minute, CD Cuhimbe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Gabirondo to maneuver through the defense. The Pacheco players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
