After a rather tough play, Dandan's Ricart Preciado got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ricart Preciado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Dopacio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Corozo Arrano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Ricart Preciado in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 25 minutes into the match, CD. Barcelona's goalkeeper Carlos Dopacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricart Preciado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corozo Arrano in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Dopacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ricart Preciado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corozo Arrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Carlos Dopacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, CD. Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Limiñana to maneuver through the defense. Corozo Arrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Dopacio having to interfere. Carlos Dopacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xines Londoño in the 41st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corozo Arrano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paz Rigual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Huerga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paz Rigual having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ricart Preciado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dandan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricart Preciado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Dopacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricart Preciado struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Carlos Dopacio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dandan. Carlos Dopacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corozo Arrano in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, CD. Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vera Aparicio to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Dandan's Ricart Preciado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Dopacio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CD. Barcelona's Carlos Dopacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricart Preciado in the 75th minute of play. Paz Rigual made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Dennis Huerga sent off a good shot on target. Ricart Preciado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD. Barcelona's Dennis Huerga got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paz Rigual made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Dennis Huerga sent off a good shot on target. When Ricart Preciado came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Dandan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricart Preciado couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes, Xines Londoño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dandan and the CD. Barcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CD. Barcelona booed when Dandan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xines Londoño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paz Rigual showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vera Aparicio in the 95th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vera Aparicio in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paz Rigual saved Dandan from getting behind. CD. Barcelona's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
