Lucas Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Basabe having to interfere. If Rolando Castelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zxavian Lejalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garrido Leceta in the 33rd minute of play forced ULPA FC's goalkeeper Zenon Izaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzales Neyda during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gonzales Neyda hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Garrido Leceta scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zenon Izaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garrido Leceta to strike the kick off in the second half. Pavel Pis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Zenon Izaga made a huge save. After having played for 63 minutes, Lucas Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ULPA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Bernal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Elena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zxavian Lejalde came free, but Joaquin Basabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elena FC's Pavel Pis got a free kick in the 66th minute. Joaquin Basabe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Bernal's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Elena FC's Garrido Leceta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Izaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Elena FC defense, Zxavian Lejalde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Basabe. The Elena FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Basabe should have stopped the shot. In the 75thth minute of the game Lucas Bernal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elena FC's Joaquin Basabe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elena FC's Sánchez Cenzano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zenon Izaga but with some difficulty. Zxavian Lejalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Luis-Antonio Meneses left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ULPA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garrido Leceta in the 87th minute of play forced ULPA FC's goalkeeper Zenon Izaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zenon Izaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garrido Leceta in the 92nd minute of the match. Rolando Castelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenon Izaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
