Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Inter De Guayaquil ll's Vilson Ibaizabal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind VALENCIA FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lobelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Inter De Guayaquil ll getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ricart Camero hit a great ball. Xosepin Valdenebro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xosepin Valdenebro during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Inter De Guayaquil ll got a freekick which was hit by Bagui Voces. After 19 played minutes, VALENCIA FC's Freddy Robires shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ponce Landaluce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VALENCIA FC reached it. 24 minutes into the match, Vilson Ibaizabal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvaldo Lobelo, 2-1. Osvaldo Lobelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilson Ibaizabal in the 32nd minute of play. Inter De Guayaquil ll's Vilson Ibaizabal got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the VALENCIA FC defense, Vilson Sojo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Lobelo. The VALENCIA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Lobelo should have stopped the shot. Vilson Sojo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Vilson Ibaizabal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Lobelo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Vilson Ibaizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Lobelo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zavior Massey made a kick off. After a rather tough play, VALENCIA FC's Baldeón Zuzuarregui got a free kick in the 56th minute. Zavior Massey had several of the Inter De Guayaquil ll's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Ponce Landaluce as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 66 played minutes Inter De Guayaquil ll got a freekick which was hit by Vilson Sojo. Osvaldo Lobelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilson Sojo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vilson Sojo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilson Sojo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Lobelo having to interfere. In the 90th minute Vilson Sojo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Lobelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xosepin Valdenebro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes VALENCIA FC got a freekick which was hit by Xano Nuñez. When the referee ended the match the Inter De Guayaquil ll players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
