Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Enrico Ponte made the kick off which started today's match. Méndez Mollinedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavian Obina, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 6 played minutes Chinchinales got a freekick which was hit by Graziani Presedo. In the 7th minute of the match Matamba Suarbol shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Méndez Mollinedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eduardo Colomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Zaballos having to interfere. With 11 minutes on the clock, Matamba Suarbol commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 10th minute, one of Rubianes FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rubianes FC. The goalkeeper, Sixto Zaballos, was totally fooled by Chinchinales's Rolando Arneu, who 13 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rubianes FC's zone, Eduardo Colomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Zaballos came out of the goal and Eduardo Colomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavian Obina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Méndez Mollinedo having to interfere. A collision led to Chinchinales getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Martinez Carreiras hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Rubianes FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Pazo. Lorenzo Sanez struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sixto Zaballos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinchinales. Francisco Masa's late challenge caught a Rubianes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Masa helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco Masa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Venerando Egas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Sanez made the kick off in the second half. Sixto Zaballos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Colomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eduardo Colomes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Chinchinales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Colomes couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Colomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sixto Zaballos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eduardo Colomes came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Chinchinales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Colomes couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Chinchinales's Eduardo Colomes got a free kick in the 77th minute. Eduardo Colomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sixto Zaballos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrico Ponte during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enrico Ponte hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Graziani Presedo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 90 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Sixto Zaballos right hand side. The supporters of Chinchinales booed when Rubianes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Villabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chinchinales were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rubianes FC for a fine match.
