Xurxo Gandia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Demetrio Barria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Rujido got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 15th match minute before Jairo Roson had time to react. Hurtado Serna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hurtado Serna took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demetrio Barria. Demetrio Barria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Hurtado Serna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Heras in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Roson saved Esmeraldas Petrolero from getting behind. If Marco Heras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nando Afaba hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Xurxo Gandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to UD Maga getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vito Antigua hit a great ball. 43 minutes in the game, Hurtado Serna dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, UD Maga's Vito Antigua got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When Marco Regalado fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esmeraldas Petrolero's protests and gave Marco Regalado a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Regalado hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes, UD Maga's Marcelo Mendizabal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jairo Roson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Maga reached it. In the 55th minute, Marco Heras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Esmeraldas Petrolero getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nando Afaba hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Marcelo Mendizabal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Esmeraldas Petrolero's Jairo Roson didn't even have to move. Hurtado Serna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Barria having to interfere. If Hurtado Serna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xurxo Gandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After taking down the ball on Esmeraldas Petrolero's corner Martinez Olanda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Demetrio Barria quite easily take care of the ball. When Iachetti Balboa fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Maga's protests and gave Iachetti Balboa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UD Maga's Iachetti Balboa got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Marco Regalado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Rujido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Roson was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jairo Roson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Heras in the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hurtado Serna got free with Demetrio Barria in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Rujido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Roson having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, UD Maga's goalkeeper Demetrio Barria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hurtado Serna. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
