Arnoldo Cervera's late challenge caught a CD Madera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Cervera helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UD Churute's Arnoldo Cervera got a free kick in the 6th minute. Montalvo Reizabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Gainzarain in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UD Churute's Enrico Pajazo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Gainzarain in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montalvo Reizabal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Insua Joara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the UD Churute defense, Hector Sirguero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Montalvo Reizabal. The UD Churute fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Montalvo Reizabal should have stopped the shot. Hector Sirguero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Montalvo Reizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Cervera kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Insua Joara made a kick off. Francisco Gainzarain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montalvo Reizabal having to interfere. Francisco Gainzarain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montalvo Reizabal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Gainzarain in the 59th minute of the match. When Hector Sirguero came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the CD Madera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Sirguero couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Montalvo Reizabal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoro Gipils during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Gainzarain in the 73rd minute of play forced UD Churute's goalkeeper Montalvo Reizabal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CD Madera's Ignacio Caballero got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to UD Churute getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Arnoldo Cervera hit a great ball. Montalvo Reizabal came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Madera's Hector Sirguero. But to his dismay, Hector Sirguero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hector Sirguero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Montalvo Reizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Gainzarain might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Montalvo Reizabal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Gainzarain ran back to his position shaking his head. The CD Madera players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
