When Nestor Randoli came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Salinas SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Randoli couldn't finish the play. Romo Ubach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugutz Bojarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ugutz Bojarte to make the kick off. After 79 minutes, Yambay Antecha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salinas SC and the Los Millonarios Apk players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Salinas SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Millonarios Apk.
