The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Malpas FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Arenas. Parisi Calzada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Arecha having to make a save. If Parisi Calzada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Lisandro Caballero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parisi Calzada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espiga Gatell scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Asturiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes Racing FC got a freekick which was hit by Texeira Camazon. Parisi Calzada kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Julian Merlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ortíz Minayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Leonardo Asturiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Parisi Calzada to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Racing FC's zone, Lisandro Caballero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Arecha came out of the goal and Lisandro Caballero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Caballero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Arecha having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 63rd minute when Lisandro Caballero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alfonso Pamo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Espiga Gatell fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing FC's protests and gave Espiga Gatell a yellow card for diving instead. Emiliano Arecha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Caballero in the 72nd minute. If Valdo Ladra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Emiliano Arecha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Malpas FC's Parisi Calzada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emiliano Arecha. That made the score 1-2 after 80 minutes of play. In the 83rd minute, Lisandro Caballero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Arecha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parisi Calzada, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Parisi Calzada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Arecha having to interfere. With a little luck, Racing FC's Emiliano Arecha got control of the ball when Lisandro Caballero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Malpas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
