Ximeno Acebes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jama Ratra in the 12th minute of the match. Mario Riguera's late challenge caught a Iwias FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Riguera helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Iwias FC booed when P. TEXACO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Riguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenes Labaja in the 20th minute of play forced P. TEXACO FC's goalkeeper Jaramillo Celama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Ximenes Labaja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaramillo Celama. P. TEXACO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ximenes Labaja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sanchez Horreo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see P. TEXACO FC's Perlaza Sedeño in action when he in the 24th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Parrales Folch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaramillo Celama having to interfere. De-Jesús Albornoz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jaramillo Celama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximenes Labaja, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Iwias FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. De-Jesús Albornoz hit a great ball. Marin Balmori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximeno Acebes having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Berria to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Iwias FC got a freekick which was hit by Ximenes Labaja. 57 minutes into the game, Marin Balmori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ximeno Acebes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ximenes Labaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Berria succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 65th playminute. Jaramillo Celama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Labaja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ximeno Acebes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jama Ratra in the 73rd minute of play. De-Jesús Albornoz charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed De-Jesús Albornoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Ximenes Labaja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Ramiro Santiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Parrales Folch fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 96th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot.
