Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Yermo started the match with the kick off. Ugutz Aldama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elkin Miar, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th match minute, Club Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lastra Ruano to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Medrano SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Bustos came free, but Ugutz Aldama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Medrano SC's goal looked a bit too open when Xuan Talaga came free, but Ugutz Aldama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Bustos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ugutz Aldama having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Club Portugal's goalkeeper Paolo Beranga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan-Pablo Morillas. If Fabricio Bustos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Club Portugal defense, Juan-Pablo Morillas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Beranga. The Club Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Beranga should have stopped the shot. Medrano SC's Ordonez Laguno shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paolo Beranga but with some difficulty. After 41 minutes, Vilson Laguno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medrano SC and the Club Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vilson Laguno kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. José Herrada missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ugutz Aldama right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Medrano SC's Juan-Pablo Morillas in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Fabricio Bustos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Bustos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ugutz Aldama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute of the match Ordonez Laguno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Beranga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicolas Naredo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Medrano SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Bustos came free, but Ugutz Aldama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Bustos struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ugutz Aldama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Portugal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xuan Talaga got free with Ugutz Aldama in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Juan-Pablo Morillas sped through Club Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paolo Beranga. In the 86th minute, Juan-Pablo Morillas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Medrano SC's Ugutz Aldama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Bustos in the 88th minute of play. Ugutz Aldama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xuan Talaga in the 92nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Naredo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Portugal booed when Medrano SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Naredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Medrano SC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Naredo. Fabricio Bustos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ugutz Aldama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
