Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Genaro Fole started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Castro Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but De-Jesús Mardones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Fole scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raúl Bolonga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Moniz during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Barrancas SC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Barrancas SC's Genaro Fole looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Almandoz Moya might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over De-Jesús Mardones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Almandoz Moya ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, IFK 1899's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Fole came free, but Raúl Bolonga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrancas SC's Genaro Fole got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. IFK 1899's Raúl Bolonga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabel Sarabia in the 30th minute of play. Genaro Fole scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raúl Bolonga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, IFK 1899's goal looked a bit too open when Xabel Sarabia came free, but Raúl Bolonga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almandoz Moya received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. De-Jesús Mardones came out and tried to block the shot, but Almandoz Moya slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 42nd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Moniz to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrancas SC's Genaro Fole slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raúl Bolonga. That made the score 1-4 after 56 minutes of play. In the 60th match minute, IFK 1899 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Castro Lago to maneuver through the defense. IFK 1899's Raúl Bolonga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Fole in the 65th minute of play. Raúl Bolonga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Fole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uxio Urquicia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without De-Jesús Mardones having to interfere. In the 84th minute Almandoz Moya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but De-Jesús Mardones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Bolonga didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. 92 minutes into the match, IFK 1899's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Fole came free, but Raúl Bolonga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Fole in the 93rd minute of play forced IFK 1899's goalkeeper Raúl Bolonga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xabel Sarabia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Raúl Bolonga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Fole fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Bolonga having to interfere. The Barrancas SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
