Santos Pliego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoel Arona having to interfere. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wellington Peñuelas sped through Vieja SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Candelario Chinchilla. Veto Proaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romero Guareña might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candelario Chinchilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romero Guareña ran back to his position shaking his head. Romero Guareña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Candelario Chinchilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Wellington Peñuelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enramada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington Peñuelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Vieja SC's goal looked a bit too open when Romero Guareña came free, but Candelario Chinchilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Vieja SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renán Mel to maneuver through the defense. If Wellington Peñuelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute of the match Zaquiel Cambas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Candelario Chinchilla skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Enramada FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Pliego to make the kick off. Romero Guareña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candelario Chinchilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romero Guareña showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. Wellington Peñuelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vieja SC! Candelario Chinchilla had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Flavio Barrasa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 65th minute, Flavio Barrasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Candelario Chinchilla. The goal made the score 0-5. Wellington Peñuelas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Candelario Chinchilla made a huge save. In the 70th match minute, Vieja SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renán Mel to maneuver through the defense. Candelario Chinchilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romero Guareña went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Candelario Chinchilla made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Wellington Peñuelas sent off a good shot on target. Yoel Arona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veto Proaño in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes in the game, Wellington Peñuelas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Candelario Chinchilla having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Vieja SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krikorian Buedo to maneuver through the defense. Candelario Chinchilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romero Guareña in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Wellington Peñuelas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candelario Chinchilla. Vieja SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Peñuelas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Vieja SC's Veto Proaño got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vieja SC's Santos Pliego got a free kick in the 98th minute. Enramada FC played a much better game than Vieja SC and deserved their victory. The Vieja SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
