The crowd rose to their feet as Vitinho Toscano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignacio Cuba. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 16th minute Raphael Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Trzenzalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Cuba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Toscano in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Weedie FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo-Enrique Cobarrubias. Raphael Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Trzenzalski having to interfere. Anibal Munarriz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Patricio Fariñada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstanty Trzenzalski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Xever Castañedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Xever Castañedo sped through UD Calacali's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ignacio Cuba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Britto in the 43rd minute of play forced Weedie FC's goalkeeper Konstanty Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xever Castañedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Flor Zuriarrain fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Calacali's protests and gave Flor Zuriarrain a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of UD Calacali booed when Weedie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaquiel Masbernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Weedie FC's Dannes Lagunez got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ignacio Cuba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Weedie FC's Konstanty Trzenzalski got control of the ball when Raphael Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vinícius Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstanty Trzenzalski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 88th minute, Raphael Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Konstanty Trzenzalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
