Fidel Umpanera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Urbino in the 25th minute of play. Martinez Meleon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gabriel Viejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pancho Fraile charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pancho Fraile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CD Sharug's Pancho Fraile got a free kick in the 30th minute. Octavio Urbino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD Sharug's Fidel Umpanera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save CD Sharug from getting a goal against them. Fidel Umpanera was a little too slow when Octavio Urbino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. 47 minutes in the game, Octavio Urbino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fidel Umpanera having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Martinez Meleon made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinez Meleon in the 53rd minute of play forced CD Chaguan's goalkeeper Gabriel Viejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Carlos-Alberto Coracera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Sharug fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 63rd minute of the match, Carlos-Alberto Coracera got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gabriel Viejo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 67th minute, Xavon Saa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CD Chaguan getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Espinola Guceño hit a great ball. Octavio Urbino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Umpanera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Wilson Guion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Umpanera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Octavio Urbino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Chaguan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Urbino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos-Alberto Coracera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinez Meleon in the 91st minute of play forced CD Chaguan's goalkeeper Gabriel Viejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Urbino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Umpanera having to interfere. The CD Sharug players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CD Chaguan from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
