After having played for 7 minutes, Dannes Ugia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dannes Ugia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Nieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dannes Ugia in the 8th minute of play. Martin Nieto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Armental, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Mateo Armental who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciruelas's Martin Nieto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Graña kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Joel Graña got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 15th match minute, Ciruelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Graña to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Armental might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Nieto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Armental ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dannes Ugia in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Nieto saved Ciruelas from getting behind. The supporters of Marina booed when Ciruelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Giralte didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mateo Armental had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Armental in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Nieto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ciruelas's zone, Mateo Armental stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Nieto came out of the goal and Mateo Armental tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Armental fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Nieto having to interfere. Mateo Armental sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciruelas's goalkeeper Martin Nieto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ciruelas getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alfonso Orejo hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dannes Ugia was the one to do the kick off. The corner led Marina's Almandoz Jolis to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Nieto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dannes Ugia sped through Ciruelas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Nieto. Mateo Armental fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Nieto having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Ciruelas's goalkeeper Martin Nieto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Armental. Martin Nieto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dannes Ugia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Bolívar Agudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Martin Nieto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mateo Armental could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Martin Nieto made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Mateo Armental shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Nieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Ciruelas's goalkeeper Martin Nieto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Armental. Martin Nieto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dannes Ugia in the 87th minute of the match. Mateo Armental might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Nieto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Armental ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dannes Ugia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Xosepe Miralles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciruelas and the Marina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Ciruelas got a freekick which was hit by Xosepe Miralles. After a rather tough play, Marina's Azconzábal Calderona got a free kick in the 94th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ciruelas's Borja Cuadra tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Ciruelas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marina's performance. The match ended with a win for Marina.
