In the 9th minute, Roberto Isasaga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.S. Mean Machine's Hernández Navaes didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mora Armiñan got free with Hernández Navaes in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zenaido Rafales hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Carlos Colsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernández Navaes having to interfere. Xuban Rioseco hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hernández Navaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Colsa in the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.S. Mean Machine's zone, Carlos Colsa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernández Navaes came out of the goal and Carlos Colsa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, C.S. Mean Machine's Hernández Navaes got control of the ball when Mora Armiñan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Carlos Colsa made the kick off in the second half. If Urtungo Gago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Colsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes C.S. Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Caicedo Trigueros. Carlos Colsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urtungo Gago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cagua Cano having to interfere. Hernández Navaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mora Armiñan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. C.S. Mean Machine's Urtungo Gago got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
