The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Valdez S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Botello came free, but Trivniño Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Ricardo Viñambre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trivniño Castellano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Romeo Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trivniño Castellano having to interfere. Xayveon Mariny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franco Aostri was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 30th minute, Franco Aostri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trivniño Castellano came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by DREAM TEAM FC's Romeo Botello. But to his dismay, Romeo Botello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 36 minutes, Ricardo Viñambre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAM TEAM FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Viñambre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villegas Erazo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Soldevilla during the 40th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Botello to make the kick off. A collision led to DREAM TEAM FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cotera Salceda hit a great ball. Reasco Canido hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Franco Aostri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Weather Rescuro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Tagle's late challenge caught a DREAM TEAM FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A hard shot 90 in the game by Ricardo Viñambre from a close distance when the talented Trivniño Castellano managed to make a qualified save. Valdez S.C.'s players were relieved. The Valdez S.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DREAM TEAM FC's performance. The match ended with a win for DREAM TEAM FC.
