Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valentine Giraldez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Villarreal Orellan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peñarol S.C.'s goalkeeper Augusto Seiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xayveon Aspiazu's late challenge caught a Ficoa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xayveon Aspiazu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Xayveon Aspiazu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Peñarol S.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jaramillo Ufret hit a great ball. When Valentine Giraldez came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ficoa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentine Giraldez couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezar Buznea in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Seiro saved Peñarol S.C. from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Peñarol S.C.'s goalkeeper Augusto Seiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentine Giraldez. If Vitor Cantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentine Giraldez scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Seiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ficoa FC's zone, Vitor Cantos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yánez Boñar came out of the goal and Vitor Cantos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Seiro came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ficoa FC's Valentine Giraldez. But to his dismay, Valentine Giraldez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Valentine Giraldez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Seiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Leonardo Zumaya struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Augusto Seiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ficoa FC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnny Carmona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentine Giraldez scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Seiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ficoa FC's Yánez Boñar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitor Cantos in the 60th minute of play. Cezar Buznea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentine Giraldez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Augusto Seiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentine Giraldez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Cezar Buznea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Seiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Valentine Giraldez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ficoa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentine Giraldez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Seiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezar Buznea struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Augusto Seiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ficoa FC. The audience was convinced that Valentine Giraldez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Seiro was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peñarol S.C.! The referee gave Ficoa FC a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cezar Buznea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Peñarol S.C.'s Augusto Seiro. 4-0. Augusto Seiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentine Giraldez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Miguel Carcamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ficoa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Carcamo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Seiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ficoa FC's Yánez Boñar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ficoa FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Peñarol S.C. booed when Ficoa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Zumaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ficoa FC's goalkeeper Yánez Boñar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Augusto Seiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentine Giraldez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Ficoa FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
