The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Asenjo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carcelén Ramiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xavier Larquera was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Mateo Asenjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carcelén Ramiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, CantaGallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes Ramírez Mazuelos shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Videl Bodon when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Rodolfo Carrizo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Surco hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, CantaGallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CantaGallo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
