Valentine Salas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xose Pacio's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xose Pacio to make the kick off. PEJOSEC's Dalmo Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quiñónez Morras in the 54th minute of play. After 54th play minutes Juan Godinez shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Dalmo Prado and just under the crossbar into goal. Dalmo Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zornin Illera in the 58th minute of the match. Paulo Pires hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Zornin Illera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xose Pacio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Valentine Salas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, PEJOSEC's Paulo Pires got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of barcelona booed when PEJOSEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The barcelona fans cheered their team off the field, for while PEJOSEC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
