Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ulizes Barea took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, NIKODEMO FC's Xavion Tiagonce got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Reynaldo Espriella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Bacon having to interfere. Xulio Albornoz might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Bacon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xulio Albornoz ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Edgardo Enao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lalamor's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Enao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Bacon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Ulizes Barea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Espinosa Zubeldia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alberto Bacon stood somewhat misplaced when Xulio Albornoz came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 21 minute. In the 25th minute, Ulizes Barea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Espinosa Zubeldia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Alberto Bacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Criban Bujia in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Reynaldo Espriella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lalamor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Espriella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Bacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulio Albornoz in the 36th minute of the match. Ulizes Barea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Reynaldo Espriella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in NIKODEMO FC's zone, Xulio Albornoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Bacon came out of the goal and Xulio Albornoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 56th minute, one of Lalamor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lalamor. Espinosa Zubeldia made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Paulo Velaostegui sent off a good shot on target. Villota Mercado's late challenge caught a NIKODEMO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Villota Mercado helped the player get up and apologised. Villota Mercado kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Reynaldo Espriella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xulio Albornoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Bacon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xulio Albornoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NIKODEMO FC's Alberto Bacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulio Albornoz in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Lalamor getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Edgardo Enao hit a great ball. Paulo Velaostegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Velaostegui might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Espinosa Zubeldia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Velaostegui ran back to his position shaking his head. After 90 played minutes Ulizes Barea rounded Lalamor's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Yago Arista kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The NIKODEMO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NIKODEMO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
