Mendez Mortal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jonathan Sabuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Juntas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Zorrilla. Mendez Mortal in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Sabuco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Carabalí Eguia struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Xacobo Mones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juntas FC. Xacobo Mones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carabalí Eguia in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Jeremias Ambrosio made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cuipamba booed when Juntas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Milla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Cruz Maxenchs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Sabuco skillfully saved the ball. Xamo Leiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacobo Mones having to interfere. Xacobo Mones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xamo Leiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Carabalí Eguia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Sabuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Ambrosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cuipamba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Juntas FC for a fine match.
