Aguinaga Hita came out of the goal and Victor Gaviria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aston Birra FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Victor Gaviria scored to the left of an out of position Aguinaga Hita, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flor Oliver got free with Aguinaga Hita in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pintag's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Burbano Berganza in the 18th minute. Viviano Gorostieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guerrero Prelo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Matamba Nicola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pintag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aston Birra FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pintag's Matamba Nicola got a free kick in the 20th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ramirez Quejana notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Aston Birra FC's Aguinaga Hita. Aguinaga Hita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roberto Goya kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Gaviria kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aguinaga Hita. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Alessandro Ares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viviano Gorostieta. Pintag's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 43 minutes, Flor Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pintag and the Aston Birra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aguinaga Hita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Gaviria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Gaviria to make the kick off. The Aston Birra FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Aston Birra FC's Guerrero Prelo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aston Birra FC's Aguinaga Hita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Gaviria in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Victor Gaviria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Aston Birra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Gaviria came free, but Aguinaga Hita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Aston Birra FC's Viviano Gorostieta threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Perlaza Leza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pintag's Viviano Gorostieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perlaza Leza in the 72nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Viviano Gorostieta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Pintag's Viviano Gorostieta got control of the ball when Guerrero Prelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Aston Birra FC's Viviano Gorostieta threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guerrero Prelo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Aston Birra FC defense, Ramirez Quejana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aguinaga Hita. The Aston Birra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aguinaga Hita should have stopped the shot. Aston Birra FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pintag had won, even though Aston Birra FC had held more of the ball.
