When Garcia Seijon came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the UD Razuyacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garcia Seijon couldn't finish the play. Walme Molledo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walme Molledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walme Molledo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Marcos Ramos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Iachetti Salantes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vedillo Bendigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 29 minutes on the clock, Carlos Adornio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Vimaro Piñero placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Diego Morellana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Timoteo Lavalle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, UD Razuyacu's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Morellana came free, but Juan Bentisca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Morellana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Leonardo Oliveros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Diego Morellana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Bentisca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Maximo Fariñada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Oliveros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Bentisca having to interfere. Vedillo Bendigar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Iachetti Salantes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcos Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iachetti Salantes having to interfere. Diego Morellana might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Bentisca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Morellana ran back to his position shaking his head. UD Razuyacu's Juan Bentisca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Oliveros in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Vedillo Bendigar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iachetti Salantes. Vedillo Bendigar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curacaco FC's goalkeeper Iachetti Salantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the UD Razuyacu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Curacaco FC.
