Zambi FC's Alberto Berdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yambay Castresana in the 13th minute of play. Yambay Castresana struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alberto Berdu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Cerrito. Urtsua Sangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Berdu having to interfere. Alberto Berdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yambay Castresana in the 33rd minute of the match. Urtsua Sangra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alberto Berdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zenaido Fortea during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, UD Cerrito's Zenaido Fortea got a free kick in the 37th minute. Urtsua Sangra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Berdu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yambay Castresana went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a little luck, Zambi FC's Alberto Berdu got control of the ball when Urtsua Sangra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 54 minutes of play UD Cerrito's Zenaido Fortea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 55 played minutes UD Cerrito got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Fortea. Zambi FC's Osvaldo Villayres got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Velasco Grillo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Urtsua Sangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Berdu having to interfere. Zambi FC's Alberto Berdu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Zambi FC from getting a goal against them. Zambi FC's Ambrossi Barrosa got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Urtsua Sangra came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the UD Cerrito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsua Sangra couldn't finish the play. If Urtsua Sangra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Xose Gurruchaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Cerrito's supporters rose to their feet, but Xose Gurruchaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Berdu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of UD Cerrito booed when Zambi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrossi Barrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Berdu made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Urtsua Sangra sent off a good shot on target. Camilo Dorronsoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Berdu having to interfere. Urtsua Sangra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
