Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cornelio Maleta started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Chiriboga's Cornelio Maleta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Fermoso. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Manuel Ondarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jorge Fermoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Maleta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Chiriboga's Cornelio Maleta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Fermoso. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Zaquiel Millera struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Villarreal Sara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wildblue. Manuel Ondarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jorge Fermoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wildblue's goalkeeper Jorge Fermoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Virgilio Agustin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Wildblue's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Maleta came free, but Jorge Fermoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Wildblue booed when UD Chiriboga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Maleta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edgar Sabugo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the UD Chiriboga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Sabugo couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, Cornelio Maleta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Fermoso. Cornelio Maleta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Virgilio Agustin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, UD Chiriboga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Sabugo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Wildblue's Xavier Trasmiera tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jorge Fermoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Maleta in the 46th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Wildblue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaquiel Millera to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Maleta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jorge Fermoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leoverliz Villayres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Ondarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jorge Fermoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UD Chiriboga's Cornelio Maleta got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Wildblue's Leoverliz Villayres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Villarreal Sara. Villarreal Sara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Jorge Fermoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Ondarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Wildblue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtsin Betancur to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of UD Chiriboga booed when Wildblue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Izmendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Maleta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Wildblue's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Maleta came free, but Jorge Fermoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Maleta in the 74th minute of play forced Wildblue's goalkeeper Jorge Fermoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Maleta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jorge Fermoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Fermoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Maleta in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wildblue's zone, Manuel Ondarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Fermoso came out of the goal and Manuel Ondarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Ondarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Fermoso having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UD Chiriboga fully deserved thier win.
