Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mendez Viz got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Jesus Loarte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guillermo Lasquibar. Jesus Loarte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Milton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chucho Ugartondo to maneuver through the defense. Independiente del Valle's Guillermo Lasquibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chucho Ugartondo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match, Chucho Ugartondo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guillermo Lasquibar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Milton's Nixon Pelaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mendez Viz in the 22nd minute of play. Guillermo Lasquibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weterio Herbon in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes, Independiente del Valle's Ricart Mor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nixon Pelaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independiente del Valle reached it. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Milton's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danilo Prats was slow to take the kick. During this time Independiente del Valle's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Luis Urreta at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Milton. 1-1. Mendez Viz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nixon Pelaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match Rubén Alonzo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Lasquibar skillfully saved the ball. Mendez Viz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Weterio Herbon was the one to do the kick off. Xepe Aranguiz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Independiente del Valle getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ricart Mor hit a great ball. A collision led to Independiente del Valle getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mendez Viz hit a great ball. Carlos Alfonso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Ricart Mor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente del Valle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Mendez Viz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nixon Pelaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricart Mor struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nixon Pelaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente del Valle. Mendez Viz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nixon Pelaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Mendez Viz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nixon Pelaz. Milton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mendez Viz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Independiente del Valle walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
