Claudio Gregorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Arichaga having to interfere. C.S. Blackberry's Bruno Arichaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bustos Peregrin in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Claudio Gregorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rupashca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Santaren in the 19th minute of play forced Rupashca FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Troncoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.S. Blackberry's Bruno Arichaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bustos Peregrin in the 22nd minute of play. Bustos Peregrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bruno Arichaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.S. Blackberry's Manuel Ilisarri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rupashca FC. Fortunato Santaren might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Troncoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fortunato Santaren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Bustos Peregrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fortunato Santaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Aguirre Lozares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bustos Peregrin to make the kick off. The referee ignored Rupashca FC's protests and gave Espiga Buiza a yellow card for diving instead. The C.S. Blackberry fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when C.S. Blackberry's Fortunato Santaren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Bustos Peregrin came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Rupashca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bustos Peregrin couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Troncoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Santaren in the 89th minute of the match. When Carcelén Encia came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the C.S. Blackberry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carcelén Encia couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
