In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shatuyunta FC's goalkeeper Marcos Tercilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, CD Poalo's goal looked a bit too open when Gomez Tellado came free, but Ubelteso Cines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Poalo's Ubelteso Cines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gomez Tellado in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes in the game, Gomez Tellado dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Shatuyunta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Montiano came free, but Marcos Tercilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Ur Zuzuarregui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, CD Poalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ur Ason to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CD Poalo's Ur Ason got a free kick in the 28th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Carrete to make the kick off. Ismael Loinaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ubelteso Cines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xaime Parra charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xaime Parra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Shatuyunta FC booed when CD Poalo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaime Parra didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavion Lledias in the 77th minute of play forced CD Poalo's goalkeeper Ubelteso Cines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arlín Pascalin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Tercilla. That made the score 0-1 in the 79 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Silvio Carrete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of CD Poalo booed when Shatuyunta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Chavarri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CD Poalo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
