In the 3rd minute Méndez Toria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marlon Pintado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 4 minutes, Ascencio Herrador managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sageo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ascencio Herrador was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Zavior Brufau fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sageo's protests and gave Zavior Brufau a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sageo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Zavior Brufau hit a great ball. Ferrer Ugalde hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Ruben Rebollar came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Chirin SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Rebollar couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Chirin SC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Méndez Toria hit a great ball. When Ascencio Herrador came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sageo fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 35 minutes, Cristian Ocon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chirin SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Ocon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Ocon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlon Pintado having to interfere. If Jacinto Vazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute Ruben Rebollar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marlon Pintado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ruben Rebollar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chirin SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Chirin SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ruben Rebollar made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Ocon in the 51st minute of play forced Sageo's goalkeeper Marlon Pintado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Chirin SC's Cristian Ocon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marlon Pintado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sageo's goalkeeper Marlon Pintado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristian Ocon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Chirin SC's Ruben Rebollar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marlon Pintado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Ruben Rebollar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chirin SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Rebollar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Graziani Cobreros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sageo's supporters rose to their feet, but Graziani Cobreros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paiva Dega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marlon Pintado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Ocon in the 84th minute. A collision led to Sageo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Pablo Rubin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Rebollar in the 94th minute of play forced Sageo's goalkeeper Marlon Pintado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Sageo's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Rebollar came free, but Marlon Pintado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chirin SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
