Vito Matanza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Pajonal's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Matanza came free, but Pepe Riazos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Tamez hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Venerando Lomeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Capo du Tonsupa's goalkeeper Murillo Mendaña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Telmo Dobale. In the 23rd minute, Montalvo Cavazos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39thth minute of the game Telmo Dobale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capo du Tonsupa's Murillo Mendaña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Telmo Dobale made a kick off. Murillo Mendaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Bañuelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Capo du Tonsupa's Marquez Cerdeira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Venerando Lomeli's late challenge caught a Capo du Tonsupa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venerando Lomeli helped the player get up and apologised. Venerando Lomeli hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match.
