Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Narciso Castañedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vera Gaztelumendi during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Cruz Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vera Gaztelumendi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Azconzábal Retes in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Campos Loredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Narciso Castañedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Castañedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuñiga Miras having to interfere. Sotomayor Menocal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Zuñiga Miras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Pastavi's goal looked a bit too open when Azconzábal Retes came free, but Campos Loredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vera Gaztelumendi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Campos Loredo. Pastavi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zuñiga Miras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotomayor Menocal in the 31st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Vera Gaztelumendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Azconzábal Retes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruz Azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azconzábal Retes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Campos Loredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roldan Rallo in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Antero Jatkola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Campos Loredo. That made the score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. In the 56th minute, one of Cruz Azul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cruz Azul. Cruz Azul:s Zuñiga Miras showed great skill when he stopped Rodrigo Lucena:s penalty. 59 minutes into the game, Pastavi's Rodrigo Lucena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zuñiga Miras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Azconzábal Retes came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Campos Loredo could save by the left post. Azconzábal Retes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Campos Loredo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roldan Rallo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Narciso Castañedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Campos Loredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aragón Ontoria. With a little luck, Pastavi's Campos Loredo got control of the ball when Azconzábal Retes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cruz Azul booed when Pastavi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Castañedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Campos Loredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antero Jatkola's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. George Horbea's late challenge caught a Cruz Azul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Horbea helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pastavi's George Horbea got a free kick in the 94th minute. Eduardo Cuetos lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 96th minute, one of Pastavi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pastavi. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Cruz Azul. Domingo Muños stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Campos Loredo. 1-3. The Pastavi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cruz Azul's performance. The match ended with a win for Cruz Azul.
