After a defensive mix-up in CD Sigsillano's zone, Agustin Mandelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xayvion Santandres came out of the goal and Agustin Mandelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Mijares kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Calisto Clas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeilan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calisto Clas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Agustin Mandelo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zeilan FC's protests and gave Agustin Mandelo a yellow card for diving instead. Agustin Mandelo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Chalá Teijeira made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Xaver Betancia. Xaver Betancia struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Duarte Vasquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Sigsillano. 22 minutes into the match, CD Sigsillano's goalkeeper Xayvion Santandres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xarles Sanabria. If Agustin Mandelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, López Bocos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of CD Sigsillano booed when Zeilan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Mandelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Zeilan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xaver Betancia came free, but Duarte Vasquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Agustin Mandelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeilan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Mandelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xayvion Santandres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Sigsillano's goalkeeper Xayvion Santandres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duarte Vasquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Caraballo in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Xaver Betancia made the kick off in the second half. Agustin Mandelo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Edgardo Pascual had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Vasquez. Zeilan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Pascual was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 60 minutes of play, Zeilan FC's Jonatan Claveria made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xayvion Santandres was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Humberto Zabalo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Zeilan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Zabalo couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute of the match Calisto Clas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xayvion Santandres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Xavieon Otal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zeilan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Sigsillano the free kick. Xavieon Otal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, López Bocos made a precise shot to the right of Xayvion Santandres. CD Sigsillano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Edgardo Pascual received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duarte Vasquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgardo Pascual slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 86th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zeilan FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Sigsillano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
