Zayvius Albarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Putumayo FC booed when brazil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Cadiñanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led to Putumayo FC's Bruno Illanas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sebastian Maceda made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Zayvius Albarez sent off a good shot on target. Putumayo FC's Zayvius Albarez got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xian Querijazu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes of play, Putumayo FC's Zayvius Albarez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Maceda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zornin Morcillo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urbes Emesabel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Francisco Belber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putumayo FC and the brazil players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Xian Querijazu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Zayvius Albarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Belber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Maceda. brazil's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. During the 84th minute of the match Fabricio Valiente completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabricio Valiente a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 85th match minute, brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Valiente to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind brazil's goalkeeper Sebastian Maceda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Zayvius Albarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Maceda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Hortigosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The brazil players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Putumayo FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
