Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juan Victorica kicked off to start the match. Leo Navas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José-Francisco Odoardo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Corvera during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CD Pozito's Lucio Corvera got a free kick in the 10th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Zhondeleg's Cántaro Portugal tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. José-Francisco Odoardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Navas in the 14th minute of play. When CD Pozito's Leo Navas in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zhondeleg's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Hugo Castellvi managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Pozito's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Castellvi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José-Francisco Odoardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Navas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. José-Francisco Odoardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Victorica in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Olaiz saved CD Pozito from getting behind. The supporters of Zhondeleg booed when CD Pozito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vistruario Esterina didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vachon Cobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Victorica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Virgilio Olaiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Vachon Cobos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Juan Victorica came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Zhondeleg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Victorica couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, CD Pozito's Xizavier Ribera got a free kick in the 59th minute. Zhondeleg's Vachon Cobos got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Juan Victorica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vachon Cobos got free with Virgilio Olaiz in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Zhondeleg's Vachon Cobos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Olaiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Victorica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Hugo Castellvi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José-Francisco Odoardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Castellvi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vachon Cobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Virgilio Olaiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urki Portocarrero kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Hugo Castellvi took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José-Francisco Odoardo. José-Francisco Odoardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Many of Zhondeleg's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Zhondeleg may have spent more time on the ball, but CD Pozito were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
