Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of CD Río Guayas booed when Pichikatos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Clavijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parisi Ester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Angel Amirola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Loureiro in the 10th minute of play forced CD Río Guayas's goalkeeper Angel Amirola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Alexandro Somarribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ricardo Zornoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tercero Bonjoch hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Macías Aenlle kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Parisi Ester in the 26th minute of play forced CD Río Guayas's goalkeeper Angel Amirola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Ricardo Zornoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Amirola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Parisi Ester in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Amirola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angel Amirola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parisi Ester, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Macías Aenlle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandro Somarribas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Escobar Patiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pichikatos's Escobar Patiño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macías Aenlle in the 40th minute of play. Pichikatos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Macías Aenlle scored to the left of an out of position Escobar Patiño, making the score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Zornoza was the one to do the kick off. Macías Aenlle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macías Aenlle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Escobar Patiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandro Somarribas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Escobar Patiño having to interfere. In the 66th minute of the match, Parisi Ester got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angel Amirola was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Parisi Ester could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Angel Amirola made a huge save. Pichikatos's Mauro Loureiro suffered a sore thigh after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 70 minutes, Xorxe Heyros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Río Guayas and the Pichikatos players grew even worse after the yellow card. When CD Río Guayas's Macías Aenlle in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pichikatos's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Macías Aenlle managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Río Guayas's supporters rose to their feet, but Macías Aenlle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Escobar Patiño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Escobar Patiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandro Somarribas in the 95th minute of play. CD Río Guayas were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pichikatos to leave the ground with a draw.
