Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yépez Labiaga kicked off to start the match. Tyrone Oyuelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gian-Carlo Castropan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. RED POWER FC's Yaniusky Artime got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Otavalo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Zuberoa Pelegri hit a great ball. Cagua Veidazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Oyuelos having to interfere. Cagua Veidazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zuberoa Pelegri hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Otavalo's Yépez Labiaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frutos Echavarri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When RED POWER FC's Cagua Veidazar in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Otavalo's goalie prevented a goal. Cagua Veidazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tyrone Oyuelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RED POWER FC's Yaniusky Artime got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Dominguez Echague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yépez Labiaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Frutos Echavarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominguez Echague recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cagua Veidazar to make the kick off. When Gian-Carlo Castropan fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RED POWER FC's protests and gave Gian-Carlo Castropan a yellow card for diving instead. Gian-Carlo Castropan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Dominguez Echague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yépez Labiaga came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Otavalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yépez Labiaga couldn't finish the play. Cagua Veidazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dominguez Echague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frutos Echavarri having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cagua Veidazar in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyrone Oyuelos saved Otavalo from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Yépez Labiaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Cagua Veidazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RED POWER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cagua Veidazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominguez Echague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
